Woo! My first blog, welcome to modern times Laura!

I am chillin at work right now, with nothing to do. This is the case a lot of the time, but then there are a lot of days where I have too much to do and not enought time top finish it all.. It is actually an internship at a newspaper called Global Castilla-La Mancha and I really love it, but lets face it, not only do they not speak my language, but all the press conferences I go to are about a government I don´t understand with political leaders I have never heard of and topics that have no relevence in my life. So my job is to actually fool my boss and coworkers into believing i am not spending all my time on Facebook or reading the New York Times and Minnesota Daily every day (Dr. Date still rocks)...to this moment I am not entirely certain what it is they think I spend all dy on my computer doing...?

Despite the bordem, I really do love this job, I have met some of the coolest people there are in Toledo, and I have learned so much about a place very different than where I am from, not to mention I get to see Spain in a way that the other students cant. Through the eyes of a reporter, so I practice Spanish AND know all the current events in the place where I am staying...plus we go out for coffee...a lot.
